Would You Consider Living On Paleo Diet?

The Paleolithic dietary plan, lovingly called Paleo diet by its proponents and fans, is a very simple concept set around returning to our ancestral roots in our choice of food.

We've achieved tremendous progress as a civilization, but as a species, we are still not that different from our forefathers who lived during the Stone Age.

accounts for this similarity, recommending to only eat food that's provided by nature and was readily available to humans a few millions of years ago.

Food such as sugar, grain and dairy have all been introduced as a result of our farming efforts and our genetics have not adapted to consumption of those foods. Even though we may have all of these wonderful choices of food nowadays, on a very basic level our body still demands the food that was consumed by our Paleolithic ancestors.

Paleo diet is often called the hunter-gatherer diet, which describes its basic nature perfectly. Only naturally plucked foods and game meat is allowed on the table, with the exception of fish and eggs. Vegetables and fruit make up a large portion of the diet, making for an overall healthier lifestyle, which promotes weight loss, increased body strength and relaxing sleep.

The diet has been found effective in preventing a wide range of allergies, too much body fat and even a variety of commonly occurring diseases. Athletes often make use of Paleo Diet to naturally gain muscle and increase their overall body endurance.

Unlike many other diets, Paleo diet doesn't carry the risks of insufficient nutrition, as it includes in itself all the necessary components of a healthy diet. The only problems encountered by proponents of this kind of died is the scarcity and high costs of naturally acquired foods in an urban environment, often prompting them to move further away from big cities.
